14/07/10 - Sponsored Rider Claire Frost has a lovely new website that can been found right here. Loads of great Photos, Videos and Blog on the go aswell!

27/06/10 - More news from Castleford based rider Hannah Handford-styring fresh off her May victory and being voted Shark Ski Club freestyle rider of the year she has won gold again! On June 19th at SNO!zone Castleford Hannah won Gold in the Moguls setting two personal bests along the way. To make things even better she also won Top Gun (Combined Moguls + Alpine) which has been by some top names in the past!

10/05/10 - Congratulations to Hannah Handford-styring  for grabbing gold at SNO!zone Moguls Challenge in Castleford on May 2nd.

06/04/10 - Danny, Matt and Chris McCormick, who are sponsored by indoor snow slope SNO!zone Scotland, competed in the finale of the Scottish Freestyler Series Highlander competition on the 3rd April 2010 on Cairngorm Mountain and all scooped first place. Danny, 16, snowboarded in the big air, slopestyle and half pipe competitions, where not only did he come first, but was crowned overall champion of the whole series; while Matt, 12, also a snowboarder, and Chris, 10, a  skier, took part in the snowboarder and skier cross competitions, also achieving first places. The Highlander Series is Scotland’s premiere freestyle snowsports competition for ages 8 upwards, with 3 events starting in February at Lecht and ending on Easter weekend at Cairngorm.

05/04/10 - Matt Thompson had a great showing at the British Apline Championship winning the U-18 and Junior 1 Downhill Title  and coming second in Junior 1 in the Super- G.  With the Juniors' Slalom and GS cancelled due to the snow conditions this gave Matt the overall Junior 1 title!

31/03/10 - Brits News - Gareth Andrews came Third in the Junior Men Slopestyle (rail jam due to bad weather) and 1st Junior Men Halfpipe, a great showing from Gaz!

31/03/10 - Brits News -  Milton Keynes rider Becky Menday had a busy Brits, she won Bronze in the Trespass Snowboardcross Championship, did amazingly well in the Giro Big Air Championships by grabbing Gold in the juniors and coming a brilliant 4th in the womans overall! Earning another Bronze on the Animal Slopestyle Championship and competed in the Snozone Halfpipe Championships for the first time ever coming 16th.

31/03/10 - Brits News - Murray Buchan, 18, who is sponsored by indoor snow slope SNO!zone Scotland, travelled earlier this week to Laxx to take part in the Half Pipe Ski event. Murray beat some of the best of UK snow sport talent to take  2nd place, well done Murray!

31/03/10 - Brits News - Well done to Katie Ormerod, 12, who is sponsored by SNO!zone Castleford and travelled earlier this week to the Swiss ski resort of Laax to take part in a number of events at The Brits. Katie beat some of the best of UK snow sport talent to take first place in her age group and second place in the womans slopestyle competition, competing against riders much older than herself! She also won the  Keith McKintosh award which is for the person who has the most spirit on and off the slope!

31/03/10 - Brits News - Katie Summerhayes had a great Brits coming second in the Halpipe overall. First in the Slopestyle and Big Air overall. Katie also took part in the Red Bull Homerun, she was the first female skier down the mountain.

20/03/10 - Brits News - SNO!zone would like to wish all of our riders heading to The Brits the best of luck!  Around 20 of SNO!zone’s sponsored skiers and snowboarders, who train at its three real snow slopes in Milton Keynes, Castleford, near Leeds, and Braehead, near Glasgow, will take part in this year’s BRITS. SNO!zone is also sponsoring the half-pipe competition which will see some of the UK’s best riders demonstrating their gravity defying stunts and tricks.

13/03/10 - SNO!zone would like to wish sponsored rider Sean Rose the best of luck at the Vancouver 2010 Winter Paralympics! He is competing in the Men's Downhill, Slalom, Giant Slalom, Super G, Super Combined and you can track his progress right here on the Paralympic Website.

11/03/10 - Matt Thompson won the English Super-G Junior 1 championship at Bormio last Month.  He then went on to win the Scottish FIS Slalom Race held at Glenshee on 27th February. Well done Matt!

11/03/10 - Mason Ferebee featured in the Quiksilver Radar with a chance to compete in the European Xgames. Mason was voted 4th in the Ski section and 9th overall. You can check out his Radar profile here.

10/03/10 - Dom Harrigton has just been shooting an article for a new magazine called The Reason out in Utah. Don says it was an epic trip and he should have some good shots from Utah. If you have a Facebook you can check out a video he made at the shoot here.

09/03/10 - Hannah Jade Handford-Styring won Bronze in the British Ladies' Moguls Championships in Brauneck, Germany at the weekend and finished 5th overall (including the men!). The top 4 came from Chatel and Zermatt so Hannah was the highest scoring British resident and did so without having done a single practice run! Check out Hannah's site here.

08/03/10 - Joe Tyler qualified through to the finals of the Oneill Czech Freeski Open 2010 but crashed out on his final run. Still a great effort to make his way through to the final stage!
