With the support of energy management consultancy, Amber, Snozone will receive renewable electricity, generated from the offshore windfarm Hornsea 1, for the next three years.
Hornsea 1 is located 75 miles off the Yorkshire coast. It is the first offshore wind farm in the world to exceed 1 GW in capacity and was the largest in the world when it was completed in 2019.
Snozone have traceability of where its energy is coming from and will be able to continue to report zero emissions for electricity under the GHG Protocol Corporate Standards, Scope 2.
Amber, a B Corp certified energy management consultancy, has been a strategic partner of Snozone’s since 2019, helping to purchase energy through more sustainable routes.

Snozone solidify their commitment to Net Zero

Snozone have recently extended their renewable energy commitment by a further three years in the UK, with all electricity purchased generated by 100% wind power. This follows the installation of 1,800 solar panels at Snozone Madrid and three years of 100% clean electricity in the UK.With the support of energy management consultancy, Amber, Snozone will receive renewable electricity, generated from the offshore windfarm Hornsea 1, for the next three years.
