Keep the kids active this Summer!

Are you looking for fresh things to do with the kids in the summer holidays?

We still have a few weeks ahead of us before we start the ‘back to school’ routine and if you’re reverting to juggling working with childcare, you could be forgiven for thinking screens are a convenient way to occupy children’s time.

Children aged 5-18 years need at least 1 hour of aerobic exercise per day, taken all at once, with children aged under 5 years spreading out at least 3 hours of exercise daily.  As parents, we know that children will be more eager to participate if they enjoy what they’re doing, so how about learning to ski and snowboard at Snozone Milton Keynes and Snozone Yorkshire?

Young children especially like to join in with adult activities so why not learn to ski and snowboard in the UK on real snow whilst encouraging children to join you in a family private lesson?  They’ll love spending quality time with you in a safe, controlled environment with temperatures held at minus 3 degrees – hugely refreshing during a humid heatwave, or ideal for when it rains and you run out of entertainment ideas!

Young children are rarely fearful of trying new things so getting them on skis as young as possible will help build their confidence, balance and coordination.  We teach ski lessons in Yorkshire and Milton Keynes from the age of 3 years and children can learn to snowboard from the age of 7 years.  Don’t forget we also have indoor soft play areas to keep little ones entertained while older brothers and sisters are learning to ski and snowboard at both Milton Keynes and Yorkshire.

Situated within the Alpine Kitchen restaurants, parents can also enjoy a relaxing coffee, snack or home cooked meal with a dedicated children’s menu.

So be the coolest parents this summer and book an exhilarating family day out at snozoneuk.com
