Snozone works with Tree Nation to offset carbon emissions

A key part of Snozone’s social responsibility mission, across all our locations, is the focus on reducing our carbon footprint and one of the ways in which we’re committed to this is by working with https://tree-nation.com/ whose goal is to reforest the world to fight Climate Change.
Our website now features a net zero button on the home page, which takes you to our Tree Nation page. We plant one tree for every 45,000 hits we receive and this off-set’s the C02 that is used to facilitate our website. These trees are planted on our behalf in Madagascar.
We also plant trees for our guests for every 2nd lesson booked with us, and every day course experience. These trees are also planted where they are needed most. For bookings, these are planted in Kenya.
Since registering with Tree Nation since October 2021, to date a total of over 500 trees have been planted thanks to your activities – in projects across Kenya and Madagascar, meaning that over 120 tonnes of CO2 have been captured so far!
But it doesn’t stop there, in the last 12 months we have also achieved a number of other environmental milestones throughout the business, including:
All our electricity is 100% renewable
The installation of LED lighting, using 30% less electricity
We’ve eliminated the use of plastic straws and cutlery at our Alpine Kitchen Restaurants
We’ve reduced our printing volume by 95,000 sheets of paper
We’re consuming 23% less natural gas in 2021 vs 2019
