Vanessa, our Head of Reception at Snozone Milton Keynes takes on a Jurassic Challenge!

At Snozone, we love nothing more than celebrating our team members’ achievements.
Our very own Vannessa Ginnelly, Head of Reception at Snozone Milton Keynes, recently took on her biggest challenge yet by participating in the Jurassic Coast ultra-marathon in aid of Willen Hospice.
This challenge involved a 100km run along the hills and beaches of the Jurassic coast in Weymouth, with an eye watering elevation of 2200m.
Willen Hospice cares for end-of-life patients and their families in Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas, and is a Hospice run by local people for local people. It holds a special place in Vannessa’s heart due to the provision of first-class care and support they have provided to Vannessa’s family in recent years.
Of the Jurassic challenge, Vannessa says “Throughout the challenge, we faced intense sunshine, horizontal rain and blistering winds making this the biggest challenge I have ever attempted. The experience really challenged me both physically and mentally, but I can honestly say that I loved every moment of it. I know my Nan would be so proud of me, whilst also telling me that I’m mad.”
Vannessa has already planned to run the London Marathon this October, for which she has raised an amazing £5,000 so far for the Willen Hospice. Since her fundraising began some years ago, she has now raised over £20,000 to date.
